What do we do?

Playhood is a revolutionary new play experience. We introduce the first role-play location for children where their world revolves around imaginative adventures and unforgettable memories and where parents and caregivers can join in too. Playhood has a cafe, multiple event spaces and indoor play sessions for 500 visitors per day.

What will you do?

As the manager you will work closely with our experienced team to ensure a successful execution of the day to day operations. You will be the main responsible for Playhood Houthavens. Examples of day to day operations are customer experience optimization, stock and order management, maintenance and cleaning organization but also team building, planning and training.

This job will provide you with valuable insights into the indoor play and hospitality industry and you will have the chance to learn, grow and contribute to Playhood’s mission: Quality playtime for children, caregivers and adults. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team management: recruit and train a wonderful team, scheduling and plan engaging team building activities
  • Event planning: Take charge of the event calendar, plan and coordinate various events
  • Supplier Management: Act as the primary liaison for vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring all services and products meet our standards
  • Operations: Perform operational duties on the floor to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and maintain a inspiring, safe, and joyful play environment for both the team and visitors
  • Guest Experience: Be the driving force behind a smooth customer journey, maintaining communication with clients, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a 10 out of 10 guest experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Oversee various operational, business, office, and event-related activities such as daily sales, reports, customer feedback, event proposals, and contracts.
  • Lead by example: Engage with team, children and adults to encourage quality playtime and uphold the unique Playhood experience
