Community & Operations Lead (Playhood Hilversum)
Playhood is coming to Hilversum!
We’re opening a new home for quality playtime - a place where children, caregivers and the community come together to play, learn and connect.
As Community & Operations Lead, you’ll be part of the founding team for our new location. You’ll help bring Playhood to life in Hilversum - preparing the venue, shaping the team and creating a place where every family feels at home.
You’re the one who loves energy and people around you. During the pre-opening, you’ll help build everything from the ground up. Once we open our doors, you’ll take the lead on the floor, guiding your team through lively, busy days filled with laughter, creativity and connection.

What you’ll do
Pre-opening and launch
- Help recruit and train the new Hilversum team
- Support the setup and operational readiness of the venue
- Represent Playhood and build local community connections
Daily operations
- Take the lead during shifts and guide the team on the floor
- Run daily briefings and communicate clearly
- Interact with parents, caregivers and children throughout the day
- Solve issues quickly and with positivity
- Oversee cash register operations and stock levels
- Support scheduling, reporting and community events
- Ensure that Playhood’s brand and atmosphere shine every day
